Uses
- There are reports suggesting that various parts of the plant is used in fever, dysuria, gravel, neuralgia, pleurisy, pneumonia, menorrhagia and flooding, puerperal fever, diarrhoea and poisonous spider-bite .
- Bark extract is significant anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic.
- Leaves are used for making beedis.
- Fruits are poisonous.
- Crushed leaves are also used as fish poison.
